30 days to better preparedness.
I feel it is time to step up and do something extra. What I am seeing here makes me a bit nervous and it is better to put nervous energy into prayer and action!
If you would like, tomorrow, I will begin a thirty day series, 30 days to better preparedness.
If you are just starting out or if you have been preparing for a long time it won't matter... either way you will be better prepared by the end. Also it will not cost a lot as many of the things you can do are free.
We are just heading into Spring so it is good timing for me! But whatever the season I think this is a good time to do what we can with what we have!
If you are in can you let me know? I want to be accountable here and report in what I actioned each day and progress over the thirty days. A challenge motivates me and is also fun! We need some fun!!
We can work together and make a difference. A big difference! Action feels good. The wise woman builds her home. Well, we will do some building!
Are you ready? xxx

I'd love to join you! I'm all for being prepared, not panicked!
ReplyDeleteOh, yes please, Annabel. I am sadly lacking in motivation lately, which is most unlike me.
ReplyDeleteI have been reading for a while (your older blog included), but have never commented. I have to thank you for your practical wisdom, but also for passing on your obvious joy in your family and in your life. When days feel dull and ordinary, you seem to be able to spark me up a bit!. I look forward to your posts and your readers' comments.

Yes count me in. I feel a nudging to prepare even more. Thanks for doing this. Cindy
ReplyDeleteDear Annabel,
ReplyDeleteI am in! Miss M will be home learning for the foreseeable future as her school is in NSW. This suits her personally. These are strange times. I am deeply concerned and watchful at the moment. On Friday just gone - despite having a lot to do here, on waking I had an urge to do an opp shop run and big supermarket stock up. I am so glad I did as I will not get the opportunity to do so for a while now with the schoolwork. Sometimes my motivation leaves me these days so I am thanking you in advance for the following days posts. I sorely need them. Love Clare
Thank you Annabel. I'm in as much as I can be with a newborn. Xx
ReplyDeletePlease count me in
ReplyDeleteWe're heading out on vacation in just over two weeks, but I will participate as I can until then. Thanks for the prompting!

A booklet on preparedness will be valuable information in the future I feel. Although like you, we are in a rural area, things can change so quickly and I feel I need to be ready. Thank you. xx

Yes please! We are headed into Fall - the time when I go over my pantry and ensure that I am well stocked for Winter. We are still under restrictions in this province but most things are at least partially reopened and we have over 70% fully vaccinated - with the goal being 90% before fully reopening We are at the beginning of a 4th wave which is making people nervous but most hospitalizations are among the unvaccinated so we can see that it is working so that gives us hope.
ReplyDeleteI hope that things soon improve in Australia.
I am in😃
